2 years ago....

Add up you and me
Equals eternity
We're the perfect equation
Like pieces of a puzzle
We know it'll be a struggle
But our love can solve anything

The door was open
You walked right on through
And my heart jumped when it saw you
We have a connection
That money can't buy
And we're on the same line

And I, I love you
And I, I need you

Words can't express
All the feelings I've suppressed
Within my heart

Through these words I'm conveying
Listen to what I'm saying
You're the love of my life

I've never felt a love so strong
We knew it all along
Unbreakable

Happiness is what you bring
You mean so much to me
You're all I'll ever need

And when you have to go
Oh how I'll miss you so
Come back soon

I could write a million songs for you
But this one takes the cake
Come what may, sunshine or rain
Our love will never break

Today I make my vow
Right here and right now
To always stay by your side

You're my better part
You'll always have my heart
And the key

And I, I love you
And I, I need you

Two wonderful years have passed and we're still going strong! I love you more than you'll ever know Phil! Thanks for making me the happiest woman in the world! :)

One Day At A Time

I found this poem in some of my Grandma's stuff the other night and loved it, it has helped me so much! I hope it helps you...

"One day at a time, with its failures and fears.
With its hurts and mistakes, with its weakness and tears.
With its portion of pain and its burden of care;
One day at a time we must meet and must bear.

One day at a time to be patient and strong;
To be calm under trial and sweet under wrong;
Then its toiling shall pass and its sorrow shall cease;
It shall darken and die, and the night shall bring peace.

One day at a time-but the day is so long,
And the heart is not brave, and the soul is not strong,
O Thou pitiful Christ, be Thou near all the way;
Give courage and patience and strength for the day.

Swift cometh His answer, so clear and so sweet;
"Yea, I will be with thee, thy troubles to meet;
I will not forget thee, nor fail thee, nor grieve;
I will not forsake thee; I never will leave."

Not yesterday's load we are called on to bear,
Nor the morrow's uncertain and shadowy care;
Why should we look forward or back with dismay?
Our needs, as our mercies, are but for the day.

One day at a time, and the day is His day;
He hath numbered its hours, though they haste or delay.
His grace is sufficient; we walk not alone;
As the day, so the strength that he giveth His own.

We were chosen before we were born!

So last night I was reading the last chapter in the doctrine & covenants section 138 where President Joseph F. Smith recieved a vision about Christ's visit to the spirit world while he was still in the tomb and how he appointed his very elite to go down and preach to the people who had been unworthy to be in His presence. Anyway, verses 53-56 hit me really hard last night and gave me a great idea for a song! It talks about the choice spirits/the elite (all of us) being chosen before we were born to come down and that we were the noble & great ones to be rulers in the church of God and that we recieved our first lessons in the world of spirits and were prepared for our mission here on earth! Then it got me thinking & wondering about who was I before I came to earth? What was I like? How strong and willing was I to follow everything the Father said? So I thought what an amazing idea for a song! It's going to be about me trying to communicate and make a connection with my Spirit. To figure out who I was before I was born so that I can become one with my Spirit and by doing so, be able to fulfill my divine destiny here on earth! Anyway, I'm so excited to get started on this. I just hope that I will be able to find the words to convey this important message!

Bailee, Dakota, Kayden, & McKenzie

My cousin Bailee & her three little girls came up this past Saturday so we could see the new babies and visit with her. They are so stinkin' cute & tiny! Here's just a few pictures to show you how small they are, or how big Wyatt is, you pick! He's such a chunk! Bailee looks so good! She has lost the weight like no other, we're so proud of her. She's such a good mom. Dakota, every 5 minutes would say, "I love you Mom."

Ok, so Dakota is 3 & Wyatt is only 9 months! haha!

What a natural!

hahahaha! I love this picture!!! He looks like a giant compared to them!
"Help me Mom! Kayden's going to eat me alive!"

The Grand Falls

Well, this last Sunday the whole fam damly went to the Grand Falls. It's on the highway heading out towards Leupp. Anyway, It was beautiful, as usual. But not as full and flowing as it used to be when I was younger. I wonder why? jk We used to go all the time when I was a kid, but it had been a while, so it was good to go back and to take Wyatt and Phil who have both never been there.

CHEESE!!! It was sooo windy, it was hard to keep your eyes open. Wyatt's trying really hard as you can tell.
From left to right is Levi, Dillin, Mi Madre, Mi Papa, Auntie J, Phil, & Wyatt.

Mormon Prom

Well this past weekend, Wyatt and I went to Mormon prom to help my Mom dj. My husband, being absent due to hunting ;), couldn't go and be my date so Wyatt, as willing as he is, took his place! We had a lot of fun and got to dress up, which every once in a while, I love to do. Wyatt looked handsome and was the best date I could've asked for. Oh yeah, he was my Mom's as well, what a pimp! jk! Heath and Janae came, Janae looked beautiful in her dress and Heath, as handsome as ever. Anyway, it was a lot of fun.

My Mom the dj! Isn't she so cool?!?

Heath & Janae all dressed up and ready to bust a move!
Wyatt, acting like the King sitting on his throne. What a goof!

Momma & Wyatt dancing the last dance... It was a great night :)

Phil hits his second deer in less than 2 years of marriage!

So Phil was driving home on Lake Mary Road after a fishing trip on Saturday a couple weeks ago and Whammo!!! He hit his second deer in less than 2 years of marriage! Can anyone say "Bad luck?" He called me right after it happened and said "Babe I have some bad news" and of course my first reaction was, "did you get another ticket?" Because he has gotten his share of tickets believe you me. "Nope. I hit another deer." Anyway, it was pretty bad, but we are very thankful it wasn't a huge elk or anything that could've caused more damage or possibly hurt Phil.

These two pictures were taken right when he got home that night. He's so proud...

These were taken the next day. You can see the huge dent on the side and the drivers mirror that was ripped off. yeah, lovely, I know.

Good times at the Desert

I am so behind on posting it's ridiculous! Anyway, we went to the Desert down in coolidge again with Phil's family about 2 weeks ago. It was a ton of fun as usual. It was Wyatt's first time in the swimming pool and he loved it, as you can tell by the pictures. We rode on the desert, had dinner out in the desert, celebrated Eliza's birthday, played lots of games, swam...we just had a blast! Sorry it has taken me so long to put this up. There's still a lot to come, hopefully I'll get it up here soon.

Parley P. Pratt...An amazing man!

Ok, so I started reading this book several years ago called "The Autobiography of Parley P. Pratt", I got 3/4 of the way done with it and put it away for a long while for some reason? (What was I thinking?) Anyway, I just found it the other day and have been addicted to it since. I can't put it down! Every minute I have to myself, I read it. For those of you who know me, I'm not much of a reader at all. I have to be hooked from the very beginning to stay interested and finish it. Anyway, this book is amazing! Parley P. Pratt was such a spiritual man, intelligent man of God! The example he has set, has and will be remembered for years to come. If you haven't read this book, then I strongly suggest you get yourself a copy right now! It has motivated and inspired me so much to become a better person, to be more well-rounded and to not be afraid to stand up for what I believe in and to share what I know to be true to other people around me! I'm telling you, you will not regret reading this book. If any of you want to borrow my copy, you're more than welcome, just let me know. :)

Another trip to Glamis

Well, here's some pictures of our trip to the dunes. I'm still trying to figure out how to put videos on here from our video camera, so when I do figure it out, I'll put some on there you guys can check out. It was a lot of fun, of course! How can it not be fun at the Sand dunes??
